Attuned Free For Academia

Free Access for Students and Universities

Being based in Japan, the Attuned team has some experience with unprecedented disasters.

The last time being after the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear meltdown in 2011. We weren’t yet together as a team, but many of our members experienced first hand the worry, the empty streets, the vacant grocery shelves, with the background noise of conflicting news reports. The uncertainty and anxiety lasted for months.

We saw many people around us use that time for self-reflection. We knew and witnessed many people change their lives significantly. Determined to live better, happier— adding and subtracting elements so as to live in a way that matches what really meant most to them.

Now we are facing a similar time of disaster, and of self-reflection.
Here at Attuned our team has been thinking about how we can help our community, and broader society. We don’t have a factory, and cannot create the supplies so desperately needed by medical professionals. But we can help arm people with self-awareness. And knowing what is deep inside of yourself can help shed light on your path during difficult times.

Attuned helps individuals understand their intrinsic motivation towards work. It is based in psychology and used by thousands of businesspeople around the world.

We’d like to offer the use of Attuned for free to those in universities or high schools and are facing very anxious times given the health and economic backdrop—especially students who are finishing up their studies and about to enter working society, as well as those career counselors and advisors that help them.

Anyone with a .edu (or international equivalent) email account will have free access to Attuned until Dec 31st, 2020.

If we can help even one graduating senior make a better decision about their future, help them avoid a mistaken decision due to lack of self-awareness, our team would be very happy. It’s our wish that the self-awareness that Attuned can offer, knowing your unseen intrinsic motivators, can be an enriching tool for a life of more thoughtful decisions and communication.

Lots of love from the Attuned team here in Tokyo.
