Join us for Nudgestock #10 on June 10!
Returning for its 10th year, Nudgestock, the world’s biggest behavioral science festival, is streaming live for 10 hours straight on June 10, 2022. Organized by Ogilvy UK and hosted by their behavioral science legend Rory Sutherland, the event—of which Attuned is a sponsor—will feature 18 global authorities talking about hot topics from sustainability and diversity to motivation and leadership. The event is free to attend, and had more than 40,000 online attendees for last year’s edition.
Key Themes for Nudgestock 2022
This year’s festival will champion three key themes, which are driven by political upheaval and economic uncertainty: Sustainability, Misinformation and Anti-Trends. The sessions will explore the consumer behavioral traits that will define the new order of brands and organisations in the 21st Century.
Speakers for this year’s event include:
Google’s Maya Shankar, Senior Director of Behavioral Economics and former Senior Advisor to Barack Obama, Founder and Chair of the White House Behavioural Science Team, talking about how behavioral science defines government and public policy.
Goldsmith’s top lecturer and VR authority Sylvia Pan talking about the potential of VR and consumer sociability.
Dan Pink, behavioural science giant, author of five New York Times bestsellers, and White House speechwriter, discussing the secret to long-term motivation.
Katy Milkman, the American economist most famous for her work on vaccine incentives and the host of Charles Schwab’s popular behavioural economics podcast Choiceology.
Paco Underhill, the world-leading environmental psychologist and best-selling author discussing Why We Buy: The Science of Shopping.
Matthew Syed, top author and highly acclaimed speaker, explains the psychological nuances of the high performance mindset and how companies can unlock untapped potential in individuals and teams to drive innovation.
Plus our very own Casey Wahl, founder and CEO of Attuned, who will be talking about scaling past Dunbar’s Number, evolution, and incentive economics with nudges to solve miscommunication at scale.
The full schedule is as follows:
The Power of the Nudge
At Nudgestock, C-suite marketeers learn how to think like behavioral scientists, as counterintuitive ideas and real-world case studies are discussed, debated, and celebrated by the planet’s boldest thinkers. The day will tackle how rethinking sustainability and diversity can promote balance, how our age of misinformation and polarisation is warping society, and how behavioural science can track the changing nature of consumerism.
As Rory Sutherland, Vice Chairman of Ogilvy UK, explains: “If you base your business success on technological gizmos then you have something that will give you a competitive advantage for 18 months to two years. On the other hand, if your brand rests on a solid understand of unchanging psychological truths, then what you have is a completely enduring competitive advantage.”
