Resend Invitations for Admins & Team Managers
Why?
The new ‘Resend Invitation’ function is designed to allow hassle-free resending of invites to Admins & Team Managers.
Previously, there wasn’t an option to resend the invitation email to Admins & Team Managers if the original email had been lost by the receiver, which was a source of inconvenience for some users.
The details:
We have added a “Resend Invitation” button to the list of existing action buttons for Admins & Team Managers.
The Owner/Admin can select the applicable Admins & Team Managers and resend the invitation to those that have not set an initial password.
If an initial password has already been set, then the “Resend Invitation” option will not be available for selection.
Once “Resend Invitation” has been clicked, the sender will receive an “Email sent successfully” notification and the initial invitation email will be resent to the receiver (Admin/Team Manager), allowing them to set their password.
Technical read: Set up a proxy for external JavaScript and CSS dependencies to be routed through the attuned.ai domain
Why?
Previously, some Attuned customers had to whitelist certain websites before they could enjoy full functionality within their specific IT environment/firewall. Whitelisting requirements have now been reduced, and we have a clear strategy on how to lessen them further going forward.
Also, reducing Attuned’s reliance on resources from external domains allows us to make the platform more secure and easier to use for larger companies with stricter security requirements and firewall policies.
The details:
We have implemented a variety of strategies and solutions to reduce the number of my.attuned.ai external dependencies affecting the dashboard and survey projects.
These include:Self-hosting certain resources such as fonts and icons so that they are served directly from my.attuned.ai or survey.attuned.ai
Proxying certain resources (routing internet requests used by Attuned) to go through my.attuned.ai or survey.attuned.ai
Resources include JavaScript source files, CSS style sheets, fonts and icons, as well as third-party services such as Mixpanel
Not all external dependencies (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, for example) lend themselves to being easily proxied or self-hosted. As such, the more difficult tasks have been assigned to a potential Phase 2 continuation of this update.
