Introducing Daily Tips!

Why?

Based on customer feedback and market research, we identified an opportunity to focus on managers’ business problems, making the experience of using Attuned more tailored and helping managers improve the quality of their day-to-day thinking and action-taking.

  • The introduction of Daily Tips on the Attuned dashboard is designed to help managers communicate with their team more effectively and take better-informed actions.

  • This feature helps users to understand the 11 intrinsic motivators and use them to improve their business outcomes.

  • Managers can select the business problems or challenges they want to solve and then continuously work towards improving them using the tailored Daily Tips.

  • Not only does this help increase the manager’s confidence in their skills, but it also forges a better understanding of how to convert intrinsic motivator data and insights into meaningful action. 

The Details:

Users will receive a daily tip tailored to their own profile and that of their team, while also identifying people from the same team for whom the tips will be most relevant.

  • Managers choose the context for their daily tip (e.g. ‘Stronger Relationships’ or ‘Build a Positive Culture’, etc).

  • Managers will receive a daily tip at the top of the dashboard.

  • Managers can see a list of members for whom the tip content is most relevant.

  • Managers can open the Motivator Gap Chart for the members listed as being most relevant for the tip.

  • If the initial Motivation Assessment has not been completed, the Compare button will be disabled for that user.

  • Managers can change the context of the Daily Tips at any time.

  • Managers can skip setting up Daily Tips, but can also return and do it at a later date as required.

    1. ‘Random’ context will be selected if setting up is skipped.

 
 

Owners, Admins and Managers can access Daily Tips

  • Supported users: Managers, Admins and Owners who have been added as respondents.

  • Managers, Admins and Owners who are not respondents can’t open the Motivator Gap Chart.

  • A single tip will be displayed for Managers, Admins or Owners with multiple accounts. Only the list of most relevant respondents for the tip will change when they navigate to different team dashboards.

  • Note that Candidates will not be shown in the relevant respondents list for tips, and Candidates’ top motivators won’t influence the tip logic.

  • Logic for generating a daily tip : 

    • Randomly pick a motivator then cycle through all 11 motivators and display tips related to the randomly selected motivator.

Benefits of this feature:

  • A greater focus on the business problems managers have to address will help increase managers’ confidence and allow them to manage their team and tasks more effectively, leading to better overall performance from the team.

  • Since Daily Tips are based on existing challenges faced by managers and their team, these insights and actions will gradually contribute to:

      1. Improving the manager’s skills.

      2. Building stronger relationships within the team.

      3. Fostering a better culture of trust.

      4. Contributing to the team’s overall performance and deliverables.
